Outside there is a large beer garden & children’s play area. Surrounded by reservoirs, stunning woodland & glorious countryside, makes it the perfect place to visit & to stay.
We have three beautifully decorated double ensuite bedrooms, all of which have been designed with your comfort in mind. Dogs are very much welcome in our pub & to stay with you in our Bed & Breakfast.
Dating back to 1760, our pub was originally built as a farmhouse but by 1780, had become the local watering hole known as The Barrel Inn ran by Innkeeper Ann Kay. In 1840, Joseph Kay took over the running of the pub and in 1841, was renamed The Ship. In 2001, our pub had a major refurbishment & re-opened it’s doors with the name of Ye Olde Mustard Pot.
