Whilst you're here...
We are situated on the edge of the glorious Peak District, which makes it the perfect location for you to get your walking boots on!
Here are two of our favourite walks for you to try whilst you stay with us…
Situated on the doorstep of Ye Olde Mustard Pot, the Underbank Reservoir offers a 3-mile-long walk for those in need of some fresh air. The route includes a country footpath on the southern side of the reservoir and roadside pavement on the northern side. The route will lead you back to Ye Olde Mustard Pot where a well-earned pint will be waiting.
A bit further down the road, the Langsett Reservoir sits on the edge of the Peak District National Park and boasts the most amazing views. Much of the walk is on Yorkshire Water land and is very well signposted and maintained. Although also 3 miles long, this route does include a steady climb onto Hingcliff Common. Head back over towards Ye Olde Mustard Pot to recharge your batteries with a delicious pub lunch.
